Sintial is an infiltrative Medical Device of the last generation consisting of hyaluronic acid molecules obtained by bacterial fermentation so that it is pure, biocompatible and stabilized.

Cross-linked

The cross-linking mode generates a reticulum of hyaluronic acid molecules which confer a prolonged intra-articular half-life. Therefore Sintial appears to be more resistant to enzymatic degradation of hyaluronidase and free radicals maintaining a an intraarticular residence time extremely prolonged, necessary to carry out its viscosupplementation activities.
The mode of cross-linking also constitutes a natural slow release system of hyaluronic acid molecules of low molecular weight wich, by acting on the synoviocytes of cartilage, induce endogenous synthesis of new hyaluronic acid.
