Idragenina

Composition

Hyaluronic acid
It is a polysaccharide abundant in the body that allows to maintain a proper hydration of tissues, due to its intrinsic ability to bind many water molecules. It improves compactness and hydration of skin and promotes healing of skin.

Zinc oxide
It is present in liquid form micronized, particularly absorbable. It exerts an healing, dermo-protective and barrier activity effective against irritation and redness.

Vitamin E
It is a fat-soluble vitamin with a powerful antioxidant action in the prevention of the process of lipid peroxidation and oxidation of essential cellular constituents, operated by the action of free radicals. It is useful to counteract skin aging induced by environmental stress and UV rays.

Vitamin F
It consists of a mixture of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids mainly linoleic acid (omega-6), linolenic acid (omega-3) and arachidonic acid. It promotes the integrity of skin and is indispensable for the maintenance of skin homeostasis. Linoleic acid plays an important role in restoring the epidermal barrier impermeability, while arachidonic acid, as a precursor of prostaglandins, ensures the normal skin hydration and repair processes. Topical application is particularly recommended as an adjuvant during exfoliative skin affections (eczema, psoriasis, milk crust).

Ceramides I III and IV
They are lipidic substances, main constituents of the lipid barrier formed by sphingosine or phytosphingosine linked to a fatty acid and identified by a number based on the polarity (1 less polar, 6 more polar). As constituents of cell membranes and main components of the stratum corneum, ceramides contribute to restore and maintain the integrity of the skin barrier, preventing the loss of water, ensuring skin hydration and elasticity. The ceramides I, III and IV, the most moisturizing, act in synergy with hyaluronic acid to confer greater hydration to the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil
It is obtained by cold pressing of the seeds of Prunus amygdalus and it consists of a mixture of fatty acids (oleic, linoleic, palmitic, stearic, myristic, lauric). It has strong emollient, nourishing, eudermic and firming skin characteristics.

Shea Butter
It is a mixture of fats and fat-soluble vitamins derived from the seeds of Vitellaria paradoxa. It is particularly recommended for its nourishing, emollient, moisturizing and elasticizing activity on the epidermis.
