Alpha-lipoic acid
It is a very small molecule, consisting of a chain of eight carbon atoms and two sulfur atoms, placed in the terminal part. In nature it exists in two forms easily interconvertible through redox reactions: as cyclic disulfide, the oxidized form and as dihydrolipoic acid (DHLA), the reduced form with open chain.
Due to its structural characteristics, alpha lipoic acid has an high antioxidant power in both forms as it is active against many radical species and it is absolutely essential for our body to counteract the damage associated with the formation of free radicals. It also strengthens and complements the defensive network setup of other antioxidant molecules, in fact participates in several anti-oxidative mechanisms such as the regeneration of reduced glutathione (GSH), Ascorbic Acid, and Vitamin E. Thus it protects skin from oxidation, helping to maintain the integrity of the dermis and is able to prevent and reduce the effects of aging.

They are plant metabolites extracted from the leaves of green tea (Camellia sinensis) and belonging to the flavonoid family. They represent more than 80% of the polyphenols present in green tea and are mainly represented by:

  • Epigallocatechin 3-gallate (EGCG)
  • Epigallocatechin (EGC)
  • Epicatechin 3-gallate (ECG)
  • Epicatechin (EC)

although most of the biological effects are attributed to EGCG. Catechins are hydrogen donors or acceptors and react effectively with reactive oxygen species and thus exert a high antioxidant action, including strengthening of other antioxidant systems such as those in which it is involved Vitamin A. The intake of catechins is associated with a lower incidence of cardiovascular disease, with a decrease in total cholesterol levels, with an improvement of blood circulation and blood pressure; they also modulate the immune response, also play an anti-inflammatory and exert in the skin a photoprotective effect reducing the damage caused by UV rays.

Asian Centella
It is a herbaceous plant native to the tropical and subtropical wetlands of India, Indonesia, South America, Madagascar and the tropical areas of Africa. The bio-pharmacological actions of Asian Centella are attributable to the active ingredients present in the dry extract such as asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid, that exert a skin-stimulating activity and microcirculatory activation. In particular, these active ingredients stimulate the activity of fibroblasts of the dermis to synthesize native collagen (type I and type III), resulting in an improvement of the scaffold connective tissue of the dermis and of the fundamental substance, rich in hyaluronic acid, maximizing its ability to retain water, which is important to ensure a good water content of the skin. The flavonoid component of the extract of Asian Centella exerts a capillary-protective activity, helping to maintain the tone and elasticity of the vessel walls, counteracting the excessive endothelial permeability and restoring the normal balance between the capillary circulation, intake of nutrients and oxygen in the tissue. Flavonoids act on dermal microcirculation, increasing blood flow and facilitating therefore the assimilation of oxygen and nutrients.

Vitis vinifera
The dry extract of Vitis vinifera contains proanthocyanidins, which are polyphenols naturally contained in grape seeds, berries of blueberry, red cabbage, eggplant, black and green tea and red wine. These polyphenols exert a strong anti-inflammatory , antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. The antimicrobial activity is carried out by counteracting the pathogenic bacterial adhesion to epithelial and endothelial surfaces, essential for the development of colonization and infection. The proanthocyanidins prevent the membrane phosphatidylcholine peroxidation, preserving the integrity of the wall of endothelial and epithelial cells, and exert the antioxidant activity by neutralizing oxygen free radicals. The proanthocyanidins are also useful for improving and maintaining the elasticity of the skin, thanks to their stabilizing action on collagen and elastin.

Vitamin E
It is a fat-soluble vitamin essential for humans, present in fats and in animal and vegetable oils. Vitamin E plays an important antioxidant role in the prevention of lipid peroxidation and oxidation of essential cellular constituents, triggered by the action of free radicals. Then stabilizes cell membranes, protects DNA and counteracts the skin aging induced by environmental pollution and UV rays (photoaging).

L-Tyrosine, L-Cystine and Riboflavin
Active ingredients with trophic action on keratinocytes of the dermis. Tyrosine and Cystine are amino acids involved in the biosynthesis of melanin that leads to the production respectively of eumelanin (from tyrosine) and pheomelanin (from cystine). Instead Riboflavin is an essential component of coenzymes involved in numerous metabolic pathways able to accelerate the natural process of melanogenesis ensuring greater protection against damage induced by solar irradiation.

Thanks to the synergistic action of its active components Ralios derma:

  • Prevents skin aging
  • Protects against damage induced by free radicals
  • Exerts an anti-edema and capillary-protective activity
  • Stimulates the process of melanogenesis
  • Is particularly indicated for the treatment and prevention of skin aging induced damage by the action of ROS, atmospheric pollutants and solar rays (UVA and UVB)
  • Is indicated for the treatment of rosacea Cuperosa, chilblains and alterations in the microcirculation
  • Is a support for all aesthetic medicine treatments

The overall support action, Bio-regenerative, Bio-restorative, Bio-protective induced by Ralios derma and Yaliderma results in increased flexibility, strength, thickness and tone of the skin in order to strongly counteract all damage induced by aging and aggression of any endogenous and exogenous factor on bio-trophism and bio-chemistry of skin structures. This products when properly used, as a support to all aesthetic medicine treatments, provide a global bio-revitalizing action, aesthetically excellent and therapeutically medical.
