Artyal Forte

Composition

Glucosamine sulfate
It is an amino-monosaccharide endogenous necessary to the formation of chains of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), the main components of joint cartilage. With age we may have a decrease in the synthesis of glucosamine, so an exogenous supply can help to restore the balance in the metabolism of GAG and disadvantage the occurrence and/or progression of inflammatory and degenerative conditions of articular cartilage.

Chondroitin sulfate
It is a glycosaminoglycan present in cartilage, which stimulates the endogenous production of proteoglycans and chondrocytes useful for the synthesis of new cartilage matrix. Its unique conformation also allows it to attract and retain numerous water molecules thus ensuring the right degree of hydration and lubrication thanks to which the cartilage may allow all sliding, compression and concussion relations typical of joint movements.

Sodium hyaluronate
It is a GAG formed by repetitive polisaccaridice chains constituted in turn by thousands of disaccharide units of N-acetylglucosamine residues and glucuronide sodium. It is located in the amorphous matrix of the connective tissue, where due to its high polarity, is able to complex in an aggregate conformation with a large number of water molecules and is therefore responsible for the degree of hydration, turgidity, tone, plasticity, viscosity and resistance to excessive stresses of this tissue. Hyaluronic acid is a key component of synovial fluid which gives the unique viscoelastic properties. Over the years, the hyaluronic acid content of the organism tends to decrease. Its exogenous supply is therefore useful for biosynthetic processes to which it belongs. The form of sodium hyaluronate in Artyal Forte derives from fermentative activity of plant constituents and consists of macromolecules of small size.

Hydrolyzed Collagen Type II
It is a collagen subjected to a particular purification process that makes it more easily absorbable by the body. Collagen fibers are the result of a spontaneous polymerization of extracellular tropocollagen units, in turn consisting of three polypeptide chains rich in glycine, proline and arginine residues, wound in a right-handed helix. Collagen is largely responsible of wellness and strength of the tendons and joints.

Bromelain 2500 GDU
Bromelain plays an anti-inflammatory and anti-edema role in the tissue with inflammation. It reduces vasodilation, capillary permeability, leukocyte migration and local pain and facilitates the absorption of exudate. It is indicated in all inflammatory traumatic and painful processes of musculoskeletal system.
